Classes for Residential HVAC Training
Basic Construction The essentials in building and developing residential HVAC appliances. Everything from air conditioners to heat pumps will need to be installed at some point in your career. Here, you learn how to do it.
Basic Electricity You will learn how to power each appliance and how to maintain that flow of energy.
Air Conditioning Air conditioners will be one of the major focuses in your HVAC training and in your future career, particularly in locations with long summers and humidity. If you’re starting your courses now, get ready for a focus on green energy!
Fuel Heating Systems Conversely, heating systems will be the other major focus of your HVAC training – and especially in locations with long, bitter winters. And, as with a/c, everything is going green!
Air Distribution Air distribution, or ventilation, is what the “V” in HVAC stands for. Everything from fans to furnaces, dryer vents to dampers will fall under this course.
Systems controls HVAC appliances don’t control themselves. After you are finished installing them, appliances will be controlled electronically by their owners.
