Heads Up: HVACR & Plumbing Instructor Workshop
We write a lot about HVAC training, shedding light on tips, facts and industry trends to help you get a leg up in the HVAC industry. But what about the industry experts doing the teaching? There is a huge network of teachers, counselors, manufacturers, and advisers who work together, ensuring the HVAC training you receive is up-to-date and complete. Events like the AHR Expo, which we have been touting for the past couple of weeks, are the perfect venues for industry colleagues to keep up with the current conversation.
An even more focused weekend-long event is the upcoming HVACR & Plumbing Instructors Workshop, aimed to provide instructors, industry trainers, and administrators of apprentice and secondary/post-secondary school-based instructional programs with cutting-edge technical information and techniques that will “effectively train the next generation of skilled workers for the HVACR and plumbing industries.”
The event is sponsored by 11 of the biggest names in the business: AHRI, ACCA, RSES, and HARDI just to name a few. And, because this workshop is focused on the current and future trends in HVAC, you can bet a main focus is going to be green mechanical concepts.
