April’s HVAC News
Ladies and Gents – April has been a big month in the HVAC world.
First: Let’s hear it for the Sixth International Green Building and Energy Conservation Conference, which took place in Beijing, China at the end of March. The conference hosted over 2,600 people with displays and talks concerning energy-saving green building, the latest models and products in green HVAC technology, and was centered in a city who, for the past five or six years, has been on the forefront of green technology.
Carrier Corp. from Farmington, CT was present and once again joined the group of top sponsors for the conference. Carrier is one of the biggest names in China’s booming green energy industry, accounting for 50% of HVAC consulting for all of China’s LEED certified projects, including over 70% of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games venues. Great job, Carrier – we’re glad you were there.
And speaking of Connecticut, this just in: last week, the state of Connecticut’s Electric Efficiency Partner Program approved the market of PaceControl’s product suites. This may sound like gobbly-gook, but what you should know is that now that these items are approved, you could start saving 10-20% on gas heating and 15-25% on air conditioning. As an added bonus, sizable incentives and financing to qualified applicants is also available. Learn more about the Energy Efficiency Partners Program.
Yes, indeed. Only half way through April, and already such exciting events.
Stayed tuned!
